For pdfFiller’s FAQs
Below is a list of the most common customer questions. If you can’t find an answer to your question, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
The furniture is free from defects in workmanship, materials and construction for one year from the date of purchase. If there's a problem that's covered by the warranty, the manufacturer will, at its discretion, repair or replace the product or refund the original purchase price product.
Ashley Furniture Industries, Inc. warrants to you, the original retail purchaser, for a period of one year from the date of purchase, all leather to be free from defects in materials and workmanship, seam slippage, cracking, and dye transfers.
Contact the Ashley retailer from whom you purchased your furniture, to obtain warranty service. All claims must include the original bill of sale, the product serial number, and be filed within the applicable warranty period. Ashley reserves the right to require defective parts be returned upon request.
LIMITED WARRANTIES. A Limited Lifetime Warranty applies to all frames used in sofas, couches, love seats, upholstered chairs, ottomans, sectionals, and sleepers. Ashley Furniture Industries, Inc. warrants these components to you, the original retail purchaser, to be free from material manufacturing defects.
As per the Ashley Furniture Return Policy, return your product within 30 days from purchase. Opened or used product is not returnable. In case of a defective product, immediately inform customer care. Return not excepted after 30 days.
Furniture protection plans are insurance for your furniture. They represent a better way to protect your furniture's long-term value. Some plans even cover manufacturer defects and flaws. So while manufacturer protection plans are worth the money, third-party protection plans are the better option.
Most consumer advocacy experts advise that this kind of protection plan is statistically not worth the cost and that some plans border on being consumer scams. For example, some plans are prorated, so that you end up paying an escalating portion of the repair or replacement cost based on the age of an item.
Extended Warranty Plans These plans are typically pitched as though they offer added protection and extend the retailer's warranty. Extended furniture warranties are never a good idea. They invalidate the manufacturer's warranty and are loaded with exclusions.
