Love this program! I am new with it, but it makes my paralegal position ( I do public benefits advocacy) much easier in filling out forms that are not fillable on the Social Security website.

Helpful Tool I had been trying to send off some release forms and was crunched for time so I signed up for PDFFiller's free trial. In the end, I wasn't able to use their software without a purchase, but it made me almost wish I had paid the money. I like that I can sign any document electronically. It definitely saves time and printing costs. It cuts out about 2 extra steps: printing and scanning. This is helpful for documents that need signatures such as release forms, etc. I didn't like how much I had to pay in order to use my e-signed pdf. I don't use the software often enough to make it worth the price. However, if I worked regularly with documents that needed to be signed this software would be the very best solution.

For pdfFiller’s FAQs

Below is a list of the most common customer questions. If you can’t find an answer to your question, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
Step 1: Load the PDF File. Open your pre-existing PDF form in PDF element, or you can choose to open an existing form template. Step 2: Recognize Form Fields Automatically. Step 3: Fill and Save the Form.
Make sure that the security settings allow form filling. (See File > Properties > Security.) Sometimes form creators forget to convert their PDFs to interactive forms, or they intentionally design a form you can only fill in by hand. If you can't type in the form fields, then the fields are probably not interactive.
Thin lines may disappear at different zoom levels. The thin line display issue can occur with PDF files created from any vendor. If you print a hard copy of the same PDF file, then the lines will appear correctly because the resolution of the printed page is higher than that of the display monitor.
Under the Options tab choose Icon only from the Layout dropdown. Click the Choose Icon button and select the PDF file with the instructions and click Close. To test, select the Preview button in form editing mode, and click the instructions button.

Enable Developer Tab. Open Microsoft Word, then go to the File Tab > Options > Customize Ribbon > check the Developer Tab in the right column > Click OK. Insert a Control. Click on the control and it will appear wherever your cursor was located. Edit Filler Text. Customize Content Controls.
Text Form Field — Inserts a Text Form field allowing users to insert text, numbers symbols and spaces. To add a text form field place the insertion point where you want the field to be placed and select. Word will insert the field {FORMTEXT } into the document. These field codes cannot be modified manually.
Word fields are placeholders that store and display data. They perform simple tasks, such as returning the current date or current page number, but they're much more than that. You can use them to ask questions, make decisions based on specific conditions, and perform calculations.
To set up those custom fields, go into the Info menu in Word, and on the right side of the screen click on the dropdown arrow next to Properties > Advanced Properties. In this pop-up, you can add the recipient field by name. Select text as the type, and the value. Click Add, and then OK.
