It is now time to get into details about the Launch ID's of ISS in the last day, as the flight of the SAGE-3 was delayed due to technical issues, so that the launch could be conducted successfully on the morning of 26 June 2016. All the Launch ID for ISS with SAGE-3, SAGE-C/D, SAGE-C/D-2 and SAGE-C/D-3 has been obtained from Launch Services Agency (LSA), the entity responsible for the management and development of the ISS. Each flight was conducted using identical spacecraft; so, they all share the same Launch ID except the Launch ID for the second SAGE-3. Launch Identification System & Documentation Launch Identification System: The ′Launch Identification System’ (LIDS) is a single point of entry and visibility for identification of people and devices within a flight. It is a computer-based system providing a combination of three security features: a bar code that identifies a person; a magnetic strip that enables a device to be found, even when the person is not physically within a physical proximity to the device; and a digital radio-frequency identity tag or RFID that enables the user to find the same specific access point (AP) or device (PID) that he or she had earlier used on the same flight. The LIDS are an integrated, electronic system, and provides flight crew and ground personnel a real-time, automated solution for identification verification and monitoring access to critical flight assets.
