First let's get things straight: Yes, the web is in part responsible for the growth of scientific articles at all, but this is not a result of 'the web being bad' but of how the web works. It has made work much easier. In the legal field we deal with a ridiculous amount of documents. Many IRS and government forms require some PDF filler, Adobe Acrobat does not do the job PDF filler can. To be able to access my docs from anywhere is amazing. The email, sign, fax, and all the other features make it actually fun.

To find the IP address on Gmail, open the e-mail that you would like to find the IP address. Click on more icon on the top right of your e-mail. Scroll down and select show original. The original message will be displayed in a new tab.
Fetching Sender's IP Address When you have opened the email, go to right-hand side of the email and click on the downward arrow called as 'More' button. You'll see a number of options, and you need to click on 'Show Original' option. Then, you'll see a new tab is opened, and you'll see an original message written.
Step 2: In the coming email message window, just navigate to the little arrow icon located on the right bottom of Tags section under Message tab. Step 3: In the Properties window, just find Internet headers section, then find an entity which begin with X-Originating-IP, then you would see the sender's IP address.
If the Gmail sender uses Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP), you will be able to find the sender's source IP Addresses in the headers of the message. ... Gmail likely has the originating IP address in their internal records, and you may be able to request it.
