To request a quotation means to ask for specific prices of certain items. This means that your company, or you, want to purchase these items in the future. In order to request a quotation, you need to know which items or services the company you are asking offers.
In business, “price quote", "price quotation" or just “quote", "quotation" are synonymous. If there is context around the word, you don't have to use “price". When you give a quote or quotation, you can't change a fixed price offer.
A quotation is a summary of the cost of hiring a business along with the amount of work the business needs to do for its client. A quotation Template is the pre-contrived format into which a business can place its information. Usually, a customer has a budget for the work it wants to be done.
Use the author's (not the editor's) last name and the page number in parentheses.
