Open the PDF containing the signature. Open the Signatures panel, and select the signature. On the Options menu, click Show Signature Properties, and then click Show Signer's Certificate.
Open the Preferences dialog box (Edit > Preferences). Under Categories, select Signatures. For Identities & Trusted Certificates, click More. Select Digital IDs on the left. Do one of the following: To import an ID, click the Add ID button , and follow the onscreen instructions.
For a single PDF or a component PDF in a PDF Portfolio, open the PDF. Choose Tools > Protect > More Options > Encrypt with Certificate. At the prompt, click Yes. In the Certificate Security Settings dialog box, select the document components to encrypt.
On the Protect tab, in the Certify Document group, click Certify. On the Certify Profile Wizard, choose the actions you want to permit from the Permitted actions list. Click Next. Select a digital ID to certify with, and choose whether or not to make the certificate visible. Click Next.
Choose File > Open, and open the Final_Survey. Choose File > Properties, and click the Security tab. Click Cancel to close the Document Properties dialog box without making any changes. Choose Advanced > Sign & Certify > Certify with Visible Signature. Click Drag New Signature Rectangle.
Open a PDF document containing a digital signature. Right-click a signature on the page and then select Verify Signature from the shortcut menu. The Validation Status information box shows the results. Click Properties for more information about the signature.
Open the PDF file containing header and footer. Then choose Tools > Edit PDF > Header & Footer > Remove. To remove headers and footers from multiple PDFs, close any open documents and choose Tools > Edit PDF > Header & Footer > Remove.
