The forms are easy to fill out and the online chat help was great. But I was a little confused when I was first starting and seemingly just thrown into the fire so to speak after what I thought was just filling in a form and really didn't have a 'how to video' before I was already in ther.

Digital Mixers are Rapidly Gaining Ground Described in the simplest terms, the difference between analog and digital mixers is whether audio signals are internally processed in their original analog form or converted to and processed in digital form. But there are still situations in which analog is preferred.
A channel is essentially a signal path. A mixer with a large channel count allows more things to be connected and routed through it. Channels are usually designed to accept microphones and/or line-level devices such as amplifiers, preamps, or signal processors.
A mixing desk is an electronic device that combines, mixes, and changes the level, dynamics, and timbre level of different audio signals. It also brings together different instruments and parts of sounds into one track.

Thanks! An aux is used to send a varying amount of signal to somewhere else; be it an effect, etc. A buss is used when you want to control multiple tracks simultaneously to either adjust level or add signal processing.
A bus is basically a path in which you can route one or more audio signals to a particular destination. Destinations can include groups, auxiliary sends, stereo mix, fold back or monitor. Busses are also commonly used to create a fold back headphone mix for the musician(s) to listen to.
A mix bus is a way to send or route one or more selections of audio to a particular place. Some common destinations or places to route audio are aux sends, subgroups, and your main L/R mix.
