How to Modify Fillable Fields in PDF File

pdfFiller makes it easy to create and fill out or modify various types of documents while preserving their original layout. This is made possible with the help of pdfFiller’s advanced Fillable Fields feature. To place the necessary data into a document, open it in the editor and press Add Fillable Fields. You can locate specially designated areas where certain types of data must be entered including text, date, signature, number, image, checkbox, etc.

With pdfFiller, you can easily modify fillable fields. Move the field around by clicking and dragging it, resize it by dragging the dots around the edges, and delete a field by clicking the trash can.

To add more fields, simply click the icon again and repeat the steps above. You can add hints or instructions to each field, and they will appear whenever you hold your mouse over or select that field when filling the document. Modify fillable PDF fields by rearranging the order in which users navigate fields. Simply click the Order tab and drag the fields into your desired order.

When you’re done adding fillable fields, click Save at the top of the page. You can then fill or share the document. If you’ve added too many fields, you’ll need to know how to modify fillable fields in PDF. Simply click on the field that must be removed from your PDF and press the Trash can icon. I was a first time user and it was late at night and the PDFfiller.com information was a little confusing. I had problems opening the document on my computer as it was not readable. I reported this via live chat around 12:45 AM and it was resolved in about 10 mins or so. I was happy with the outcome.

It has been a very interesting experience, my first time doing my return with your company. I won't need to use your service any more, so please just bill me for this one time only. I'm 89 years old and closing down my accounting business @ 5/31/15.

Make sure that the security settings allow form filling. (See File > Properties > Security.) Make sure that the PDF includes interactive, or fillable, form fields. If you can't type in the form fields, then the fields are probably not interactive.
