Open your PDF. Go to Protect Tab. Click Password. Enter Password. Select the Printing allowed dropdown. Select None means to prevent printing.
Open your file, and choose File > Properties, or CTRL + D on Windows, or COMMAND + D on Mac to open the Document Properties dialog box. Click the Security Method drop-down arrow and choose Password Security to open the Settings dialog box. Click the Restrict editing and printing of the document.
Launch Acrobat and click File and Open to open the PDF with which you would like to work. Click Tools, Protection and then Encrypt. A dialog appears asking whether you would like to change the security settings on your document. Click a compatibility level to apply to your PDF document.
The "Permissions" setting controls restrictions that can be placed on the PDF file. To prevent printing of a PDF file, uncheck the "Allow the document to be printed" option. You must always enter a master password when security options are enabled or when a user password is set.
Open the homescreen for Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets, or Google Slides. Click Share or Share . At the top, click Settings . Uncheck Editors can change permissions and share. Click Done.
Open Acrobat and the PDF you wish to encrypt with a digital ID. Click the Secure button in the main toolbar and choose "Encrypt with Certificate" Click Yes on the next screen . . . Click the Next button. Click the Search button. The Search window opens.
Open a file in Acrobat and choose Tools > Protect. Select whether you want to restrict editing with a password or encrypt the file with a certificate or password. Set password or security method as desired. Click OK and then click Save.
