How do I make my phone private?

How do I make my number private on Android?
Open the Phone app. Open the Menu. Select Settings. Click on Call settings. Click on Additional settings. Click on Caller ID. Choose Hide number and your number will be hidden. Choose Show number or Network default to resume showing your number.
Does * 67 still work?
On either your traditional landline or mobile smartphone, dial *67 followed by the number you want to call. When using *67, the person you're calling sees a message such as “blocked” or “private number” when their phone rings. *67 does not work when you call toll-free numbers or emergency numbers including 911.
Does * 67 still work on iPhone?
*67, *82, and *70 are landline codes, and won't work on all GSM cell towers. There is a GSM code for blocking caller ID, or you can toggle it in the settings.
Can you use * 67 on a cell phone?
While using *67 works on smartphones, most cellular carriers offer an easier way to block your number through the Android or iOS device settings. To hide your number while using an Android phone: Tap Hide number when the pop-out interface is displayed.
