This is an easy software to use. The first time I didn't realize it was a "for fee" product. I am glad I stuck with it and paid to use it. I am just signed up for the month and my husband and I are filling out job applications. It is really convenient!

After contacting customer support, I was told that certain web browsers are more compatible than others in completing forms. Once I changed from Mozilla Firefox to Chrome, I was able to complete all fields of the form without problems. But it would have been helpful to publicize this information on your website so that much time was not wasted.

If both names are on the lease then the person who owns the apartment can make either of them pay the rent. If his name is the only one on the lease then he can be forced to pay the rent whether he lives there or not.
A lease amendment must contain the landlord's name, your name and your new roommate's name and information. The lease amendment should clearly define any changes to the existing lease agreement, specifically about adding another tenant.
Yes, he absolutely must be on the lease. He would be an unauthorized occupant otherwise, and you could get evicted. You can add someone mid-lease, but it's up to your landlord. He'll likely have to fill out an application, pay an application fee, get approved and have a new lease drawn.
Step 1: Obtain a Written Request. Invite the tenant to submit in writing the request to add another person to the lease. ... Step 2: Check the Property's Occupancy Limit. ... Step 3: Acquire a Completed Rental Application. ... Step 4: Make a Decision. ... Step 5: Review the Details With the Tenants.
Leases usually contain the rules under which you rent your house or apartment, and if it says that every occupant needs to be on the lease, everyone needs to sign it. However, if a lease doesn't have this provision, then the only people who need to sign the lease are the people responsible for paying the rent.
Simply put, you are not required to accept your landlord's offer to put your boyfriend on the lease, but it may be the only way to legally establish his residence in the building. ... You prefer that he resides in the unit as a subtenant, that his lease is with you rather than the landlord.
In general it is not illegal to lease multiple apartments in your name. ... Just because it is legal, the landlord is not compelled to lease to you if it feels that you would be a financial risk for holding multiple leases.
A person can have as many leases signed as the person can find landlords with whom to sign the leases. That is, it would not be unlawful that a person is the tenant for two places at the same time...
If the primary borrower on the co-signed lease stops making payments, it could affect your ability to get an apartment rental lease in your own name. When the primary borrower defaults on his lease, the landlord may evict the tenant, send the debt to a collection agency or sue you in civil court.
Yes it is legal to sign and accept responsibility for two leases. However, you will be liable on both unless there is some option to be released from the first lease. You should have an attorney review all the documents and help you figure out your legal options in your circumstances.
