For pdfFiller’s FAQs
Below is a list of the most common customer questions. If you can’t find an answer to your question, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
If you have an EZ TAG Account and have received toll violation invoices in the mail, your EZ TAG Account may be suspended! Please login to your EZ TAG Account to pay your toll violation invoices and your outstanding negative balance.
If you accidentally pass through a tolling location without paying the toll, you can make payment for the missed toll. A $1.50 administrative fee will be charged for processing the transaction. Failure to pay a toll is a toll violation, and is against the law.
If you don't pay the toll within five days, you will receive a ticket in the mail demanding a $57.50 penalty, plus the cost of the unpaid toll. If you don't respond to the violation notice, the penalty will increase to $100, plus the original unpaid toll.
If a driver exits using an electronic lane without a valid compatible transponder, the missed toll is considered a violation, per Kansas statute, and will be tolled at the video enforced rate based upon the vehicle's class.
The truth is, there is no law on the books that directly allows for you to be arrested for not paying your tolls. However, you may be issued a citation by the Department of Public Safety to appear in a local Justice of the Peace court to respond to the complaint for nonpayment of tolls.
Previously, customers were required to wait several business days for their tag to come in the mail, or drive to an EZ TAG store to pick-up the tag before using the road.
The tolls charged will be at least 50% higher than if you had used a toll tag. If you don't pay the bill promptly, you will get additional bills, that will include additional fees. Continue to ignore, and you can be blocked from renewing car registration, and your car may be impounded.
As reported in a previous blog, NSW drivers cannot directly be sent to prison for non payment of fines. They will be given 28 days to pay the toll. A $1.10 administration fee, in addition to the toll, is charged for those who own an e-tag. For those who do not have an e-tag, the administration fee is $10.
