In Windows. Right-click the ZIP-file, select Extract All In Linux shell. Type unzip and then the name of the ZIP-file. In DOS prompt. Install PK ZIP and type UNZIP followed by the name of the ZIP-file. How do I zip a file to email it?
On Windows, just double-click on the ZIP file. Notice that there is a change to the window's menu: Extract All. Clicking on that brings up a dialog where you can specify the folder where the ZIP files and/or folders will go. Zip is a just way of compressing one or more files.
Select the file(s) and/or folder(s) you want to compress. Right-click on the file or folder (or group of files or folders), then point to Send to and select Compressed (zipped) folder. Name the ZIP file.
Double-click the compressed (zipped) folder. Select the file or files you want to extract. Right-click your selection and click Cut. Navigate to the location you want to unzip the files to. Right-click and select Paste.
