I changed my review because of excellent customer service. I had issues with the product that made the program unusable for me and was not happy with the cost. A representative contacted me right away and refunded my money before I could even ask. For that, I am truly appreciative and wish more companies would follow their example.

"Our results showed that those over the age of 65 with a BMI of between 23 and 33 lived longer, indicating that the ideal body weight for older people is significantly higher than the recommended 18.5-25 'normal' healthy weight range.”
The World Health Organization (WHO) defines a healthy body weight range for adults as a BMI between 18.5 and 24.9.
To have a BMI under 18.5 is considered very underweight and possibly malnourished. However, a BMI of 18.5 to 24.9 is within a healthy weight range for young and middle-aged adults. Furthermore, a BMI between 25.0 and 29.9 is classed as overweight. Finally, a BMI over 30 is considered obese.
The BMI for a typical adult American male is 28.6, according to the CDC, which rates a BMI of 18.5 to 24.9 as normal and a BMI of 25 to 29.9 as overweight. Any adult with a BMI of 30 or higher is considered obese.
Underweight = less than 18.5. Normal weight = 18.5 to 24.9. Overweight = 25.0 to 29.9. Obese = 30.0 or greater.
The formula for BMI is weight in kilograms divided by height in meters squared. If height has been measured in centimeters, divide by 100 to convert this to meters. When using English measurements, pounds should be divided by inches squared. This should then be multiplied by 703 to convert from lbs/inches2 to kg/m2.
With the metric system, the formula for BMI is weight in kilograms divided by height in meters squared. Since height is commonly measured in centimeters, an alternate calculation formula, dividing the weight in kilograms by the height in centimeters squared, and then multiplying the result by 10,000, can be used.
The imperial BMI formula = Weight (LBS) x 703 ÷ Height (Inches²) The metric BMI formula = Weight (KG) ÷ HeightMetresÂ2²)
For most adults, an ideal BMI is in the 18.5 to 24.9 range. For children and young people aged 2 to 18, the BMI calculation takes into account age and gender as well as height and weight. If your BMI is: below 18.5 you're in the underweight range.
A BMI of 12-13 is good for a person with an average build, and a large-framed person would still be healthy with a BMI of 14. Other factors such as a person's body habits and how much muscle and fat they have should always be considered. Still, BMI is being used to define an epidemic in a country.
BMI Under 18.5 Is Risky Adults who are underweight, with a BMI under 18.5, have a 1.8 times greater risk of dying than those with a BMI of 18.5 to 24.9, according to the researchers.
Underweight: less than 18.5. Normal/healthy weight: 18.5 to 24.9. Overweight: 25.0 to 29.9. Obese: 30 or higher.
BMI Under 18.5 Is Risky Adults who are underweight, with a BMI under 18.5, have a 1.8 times greater risk of dying than those with a BMI of 18.5 to 24.9, according to the researchers.
In males, a BMI of around 13 appears to be fatal. The coefficient of variation (CV) of the BMI is 8.7%. In contrast, females survive to a lower BMI of around 11, although with greater index variability (CV 14%). Several females had BMI's as low as 9 and 10.
Reliance on measures such as BMI < 13 = admission are crude and potentially dangerous as chronic of illness, rate of weight loss and other factors should direct clinical decisions alongside physical examinations.
