There was no way to select an output file that was shorter than that, so as a workaround, I created a file named “reducing_image_size.IMG” in the /documents/reducing-image-size. Using a script, I created a task script that was designed to generate code for the code that was necessary for applying the solution to the task's current state and also a “fixup_image_size” script that used the script that was produced by the task script, which generated the needed files, to save all the resulting files from the task script to “fixup_image_size.IMG”. However, each of these files was longer than the “reducing_image_size.IMG”, which is why the error messages from running the task script were also saved in “fixup_image_size.IMG”. While easy to use, plenty of features and very helpful for my needs, even with the follow-along snap menu to the right, it is simply not an intuitive dashboard..
