How to Reduce PDF Size to 1000 KB
To Reduce PDF Size to 1000 kb, follow these steps

Go to pdfFiller and sign in to your account or create one if you're new to the service

Click the Add New button to upload a document you need to reduce in size. Search for the file you need on your desktop or one of the supported storage services

Alternatively, browse a document from the pdfFiller library, enter the document’s URL, or send it via email

If you already have the document you need saved to your account, simply go to My Documents and find it there

To Reduce PDF Size to 1000 KB, click on it and select Split in the right-hand menu

Indicate the pages you need to separate from the original file

Divide the original file into several and indicate which pages to use in each

Name the new files or leave them with generic names

How to Reduce PDF Size to 1000 kb
Reducing the size of your PDF files can be helpful when you need to send them via email or upload them to a website. With pdfFiller's Reduce PDF Size feature, you can easily compress your PDF files to a maximum size of 1000 kb. Follow these steps to use this feature:

Open the PDF file you want to reduce in pdfFiller.

Click on the 'Tools' tab in the top menu.

Select the 'Reduce PDF Size' option from the drop-down menu.

A pop-up window will appear. Click on the 'Choose File' button to select the PDF file you want to compress.

After selecting the file, click on the 'Upload' button.

pdfFiller will start compressing the PDF file. This may take a few moments depending on the size of the file.

Once the compression is complete, a new pop-up window will appear. Here, you can see the original size of the PDF file and the reduced size.

If the reduced size is within your desired limit (1000 kb), you can click on the 'Download' button to save the compressed PDF file to your computer.

If the reduced size is still larger than 1000 kb, you can try reducing the file size further by adjusting the compression settings. Click on the 'Settings' button in the pop-up window.

In the Settings window, you can choose the desired compression level and image quality. Lower compression levels and image quality will result in a smaller file size.

After adjusting the settings, click on the 'Apply' button to apply the changes.

pdfFiller will start compressing the PDF file again with the new settings. This may take a few moments.

Once the compression is complete, the new pop-up window will show the updated reduced size. If it is now within 1000 kb, you can click on the 'Download' button to save the compressed PDF file.

If the reduced size is still larger than 1000 kb, you can repeat steps 9 to 13 with different compression settings until you achieve the desired file size.

Once you have successfully reduced the PDF file size to 1000 kb or less, you can use it for your intended purpose, such as sending it via email or uploading it to a website.

PDFfiller is a GREAT program! It is very easy to use. It helped me tremendously when I had a project and needed to fill out literally hundreds of documents online. The program worked very well, was incredibly responsive, & even kept all of my documents for easy access as well. Most importantly, however, is that they have absolutely INCREDIBLE customer service! I used the chat feature and it was totally painless and even enjoyable. I was treated very well by the chat rep (Paul)! I am a single mother who is trying to start a small business with VERY limited funds. I meant to cancel my plan before my 30-day trial was over. Like so many other times in my hectic life, I guess I forgot! I was quite anxious about it as many companies charge high cancelation fees if you fail to cancel during the trial. There was no need to worry though. I simply logged into my account and then I saw the chat feature. I chose to use it even though I was hesitant to do so (many companies do not provide very good customer service through chat). The response time was extremely fast. I asked to cancel my membership and he replied right away that he would do that for me. Here is the best part, he then proceeded to ASK me if I would like a refund as well!! Now that is WONDERFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Thanks so much, PDFfiller & Paul! I will definitely use them in the future and recommend them to my family and friends. You just do not see that level of customer care combined with great products anymore. I was quite impressed!
