If your vehicle title is lost, you may replace it by processing a replacement title application at a Secretary of State branch office. If you need your title sooner, instant (same-day) title service is available at all branch offices. Instant title service requires the vehicle owner to appear in person.
Contact the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) in your state. Ask what documents the state requires to replace the title. Find out if this service is offered through the mail or by personal appearance. Going into an agency is usually the quickest way to get a duplicate title.
There are two ways to replace a lost, damaged or stolen car title in Alabama. You can do it through mail, or you can do it in person at a Department of Revenue MVD location. To replace your title by mail: Complete the state's application for a replacement title (form MVT-12-1)
Step 1: Have the seller fill out a Duplicate Title Request from the DMV. Each state has their own form to fill out. The form requires the seller's complete name, address, the car's Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), mileage, and proof of identity. Other requirements may be necessary such as lien holder information.
Can You Get a Car Title with Just a Bill of Sale? Yes, to get a title with your bill of the sale first obtain a surety bond to confirm there are no liens on the car. Once you have a surety bond, you can obtain a bonded title from the Secretary of State.
You can apply for a replacement title, which cost $8.00 at any of our three locations. You also have the option of applying for an expedited (same day) title at the Georgia Department of Revenue Motor Vehicle Division, located at 4125 Welcome All Road, Atlanta, GA 30349.
Complete Form MV-1 (Title/Tag Application). Submit Form T-4 for each satisfied lien holder (one per lienholder). You must provide proof of identity (your state driver's license will work). You must pay the fee for the duplicate title ($8). If you have the damaged title, it must be handed over for destruction.
Duplicate Title-A replacement for an original California Certificate of Title which is lost, stolen, mutilated, illegible, or not received. A duplicate will not be issued if the whereabouts of the original title is known, but not readily available.
Can You Sell Your Car Without The Title in Hand? If you don't have the title, you can still legally sell it. You'll need to complete a Certificate of Title or Application for Duplicate or Paperless Title — REG 227, which must be signed by both the seller and the buyer.
Fill out an Application for Duplicate Title form (Form REG 227) Pay the duplicate title fee of $20 (can vary depending on the motor vehicle) Mail in the application form or bring it to a CA DMV office.

A job title can describe the responsibilities of the position, the level of the job, or both. For example, job titles that include the terms executive, manager, director, chief, supervisor, etc. are typically used for management jobs.
Always list your “position desired". Do not leave this question blank or use “any" or "open." If you're answering a job ad or looking for a specific position, enter that job title. If you are not applying for a specific position, enter the name of the department in which you wish to work.
