Easy to use, but seems like a lot of steps to go through to get to the documents and to save them to my computer. I have to save it to my computer to print it because printing from the program doesn't get it all printed on the 8.5x11" paper so leaves information off.

This is an excellent tool to use to complete paperwork to save and email or fax back on the fly. You can print afterward, or as soon as you complete your paperwork. Saves so much time, and paper, as you don't have to print.complete.scan and then send.

To change the formatting of the footnote numbers, select the Footnotes Reference Style. If you want to change the formatting of the footnote text at the bottom of the page, select the Footnote Text Style. Click Modify, and then change the formatting options (font, size, and so on).
Click the Modify button, and then click Format, Paragraph. You'll find the option on the Line and Page Breaks tab. Assuming that you have a recent version of Word, you can change the number of columns for the footnote area (independent on the number of columns in the main body of the document).
To change the font, size and formatting of footnotes: Click the HOME tab, and then in the Styles group, click the arrow for more options. Or, press ALT+CTRL+SHIFT’S. At the bottom of the Styles pane, click the Manage Styles button.
Click once within the footnotes' area. ... Press Ctrl+A. All the footnotes should now be selected. Press Ctrl+E. All the footnotes are now centered, plus the trailing spaces are gone. Press Ctrl+L. All the footnotes are now, once again, left justified. Repeat steps 1 through 4 for any end notes in your document.
The Footnote separator line appears. Select it and choose Format>Paragraph. If there is space after, set it to 0. You can also change Line spacing: to Multiple and At: to about 0.5 to reduce the space the separator takes.
Find the “Footnote Text” style from the Styles drop down, right click on this style and left click “Modify”. 5. You will find the line spacing settings near the middle of the “Modify Style” window. Be sure to choose the “Single Space” icon and then press “OK”.
