I am finding it helpful indeed. I haven't utilized all of the options yet. So far I like it. The mobile app is far more difficult to use than the website. Doesn't quite sync with the different cloud websites for transfers into the app.

If your account is limited, you'll most likely be unable to send or withdraw money, and you might find that you can't accept payments or add money to the account. In most cases, we'll email you, or you'll see an alert on your Account Overview before a limitation goes into effect.
Most of the complaints I've come across seem to indicate that PayPal will rarely hold your funds for longer than 6 months, but 6 months can be a long time if you need access to your money. And once they freeze your funds, it doesn't make sense to continue accepting money through PayPal if you can't access it.
According to PayPal, they often reply to emails on account limitation within 3 business days. Some cases could take longer when they request additional information, but most limitations are resolved within 5 days.
It says it is still in progress, followed by “we will review your information. We'll contact you if we have any questions”. It has been this way for 2 weeks!
Because Unverified PayPal accounts have limits on the amount of money they can receive each month (usually a maximum of $500 USD per month or equivalent in your currency). If your PayPal account isn't Verified, then it will take you a long time to raise the money you need.

When you are lifting your receiving limit on your PayPal account it can take some time to be reviewed. If you have not yet reached your limit, and you are completing the steps before you reach it then it can take 30 days to be reviewed.
Log in to your PayPal account. Locate the 'Resolve a problem in our Resolution Center' button at the bottom. Find the 'Go to Account Limitations' button. Select 'Resolve' for each step when prompted.
