What do you like best?
I have been using PDFfiler for more than 4 years. It makes my pdf documents look professional. There is no longer a need to print a doc, fill it in with pen, scan, and send. PDFfiler reduces the amount of steps I have to take to get the job done. It helps to also have everything saved on the My Docs page. I can find the same tax documents I need month after month. PDFfiler also reduces the amount of paper needed to generate a document. I probably use PDFfiler every day.
What do you dislike?
I would like to be able to turn off the assisted pop-ups. They can obstruct the box I want to enter text.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Simple to use. Makes your docs look professional and neat. Easy to manipulate a doc that is incorrect.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
I fill out every form on PDFfiler. It's automatic to me. In addition, when I am unable to edit a Word doc or other pdf, I know I can upload it to PDFfiler and get the job done right away.

For pdfFiller’s FAQs

Below is a list of the most common customer questions. If you can’t find an answer to your question, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
The framing inspection should be made after all electrical, plumbing, and mechanical rough-in has been inspected and all ducts, chimneys, hold-downs and shear walls are installed and framing is complete. All rough wiring for the structure and the electrical service is inspected at the same time.
Wall framing in house construction includes the vertical and horizontal members of exterior walls and interior partitions. These members, referred to as studs, wall plates and lintels, serve as a nailing base for all covering material and support the upper floors, ceiling and roof.
INSPECTION TIME: Rough framing, plumbing and electrical and mechanical systems are inspected for compliance with building codes. This is when we will have our 4-Way Walk Through with the home buyer. (4-Way is when the wiring, plumbing and heating are installed and the framing is complete.)
Siding or Exterior Lath. To protect the wood framing from moisture, an exterior lath is installed over a weather-resistant asphalt-impregnated felt or black paper sheet. Any decks are also waterproofed, and your general contractor makes certain that every wood member is safely protected.
Stucco Coats Metal stucco lath is installed over a moisture membrane applied to the wall sheathing. The lath is a structural mesh with holes that are about 1/4-inch wide. The first coat of wet stucco squeezes through the holes to create a strong connection to the lath. The grooves improve the bond of the second coat.
The Building authority requires a final inspection before an occupancy permit can be issued. It is illegal to occupy the home before the occupancy permit is issued. During the final inspection the building inspector will inspect that the house is complete and that all life and safety items meet code.
At least two days before any work begins, it is a statutory requirement that the building inspector is informed that the work is about to start. The inspector will call at the site once they have been notified.
How the inspection process works if you are doing the project yourself: When a project is ready to be inspected you need to call and schedule an inspection appointment. The inspector will visit your project site and evaluate the work. If the work is up to code, the inspector will approve the work.
Both the International Residential Code (IRC) and USG, the manufacturer of Sheetrock, say that maximum field screw spacing for wall drywall is 16 inches. Some builders like to space fasteners tighter than that, so they go down to 12 inches.
In standard home construction, about 28 screws are needed to properly attach a 4-by-8-foot piece of drywall. That's if the panel is going on a wall. If it's going on a ceiling, it'll take about 36 screws.
A drywall inspection is performed by home inspectors to evaluate if drywall installation follows standard structural requirements. Performing drywall inspections can help identify and address issues before adding finishing touches to the building or home.
Level 4. For flat paint, a light final paint texture, or with lightweight wall covering. In Level 3, you have an additional coat of compound over the embedded tape at the drywall joints and angles. Here in Level 4, you have two additional coats. The fastener heads, accessories, and beads are covered with three coats.
Drywall screws per sheet. Drywall screws should be installed every 12 inches. This means that when using 48 inch wide sheets, you will have 5 screws in each stud when the sheets are hung perpendicular to the framing; two on the edges and 3 in the field.
Position Screw Push tip of a 1 5/8” coarse thread drywall screw into drywall. The screw should be no less than 1/4” from the edge of the drywall. If it is less, you run the risk of crushing the edge of the drywall.
