Cut image from PDF. Open the "Edit" menu on the top menu bar, click on the image that you want to cut and strike the "Command + X" for Mac devices or "Ctrl + X" for Windows devices. The image will immediately disappear from the page. Notice:Save the Image (if needed).
To insert an image into a PDF, you need to use the Edit object tool located in the Content tab on the right. When selected the tool, place cursor over the page and right click (ctrl click on mac) and choose place image. You can utilize this function to insert images in . gif, .
Click Choose file. It's in the green box at the top of the screen. Select the PDF and click Open. Scroll to the part of the PDF where you want to insert the image. Click ADD IMAGE. Select the image and click Open. Drag the corners of the image to resize it. Click Apply. Click Download File.

Open the PDF document in Reader. Choose Edit > Copy File to Clipboard. The content is copied to the clipboard. In an another application, choose Edit > Paste to paste the copied content.
To insert an image in Mac Preview: Insert an image in PowerPoint and then save this file as PDF. In Mac Preview go to: Edit > Insert > Page from File. And then choose the PDF, which you just have saved in PowerPoint.
Insert Image into PDF on Mac Press the "Image" button on the left toolbar, and then click the "Add Image" icon on the reviewed toolbar. Select the image files from your computer and drag the image to where you'd like to insert the image. When you do this, you'll see the image overlaying the current PDF page.
It is fairly simple to do this in Preview: Convert the PDF document to an image with File » Save As. Open the image file and select the whole image with Edit » Select All (or select just a part of it with the mouse if you wish). Copy the selection Edit » Copy.
