All good. However it would be nice to be able to move the type up and down when placed on the page rather than have to keep placing the type symbol in a spot where you think it will fit on the line.

In epidemiology and demography, age adjustment, also called age standardisation, is a technique used to allow populations to be compared when the age profiles of the populations are quite different.
In epidemiology and demography, age adjustment, also called age standardisation, is a technique used to allow populations to be compared when the age profiles of the populations are quite different.
The standardisation by age occurs most often because the information is usually available and the age is important for the most health problems. Use: Age standardisations based on a standard population are often used at cancer registries to compare morbidity or mortality rates.
Standardisation is also helpful when comparing rates of one population over time, such as monitoring a disease in a population over many years. A standardised rate is a measure of disease frequency that facilitates comparisons of populations with a different distribution of one or more potential confounding variables.
An age-standardised rate (ASR) is a summary measure of the rate that a population would have if it had a standard age structure. Standardisation is necessary when comparing several populations that differ with respect to age because age has a powerful influence on the risk of dying from cancer.
To calculate the age-standardized mortality rate (ASMR), we must first calculate the age-specific (mortality) rates for each age group by dividing the number of deaths by the respective population, and then multiplying the resulting number by 100,000: Age-specific rate, 0 to 39 years.
Direct standardisation applies a standard age distribution to the populations being compared in order to compute summary rates indicating how overall rates would have compared if the populations had had the same age distribution.
Standardisation is well suited for comparing the rate of a given outcome (for example mortality) in large populations that differ for important prognostic factors like age, gender and social economic status.
