Wish there was a way to make all fields NOT-required, and add the required feature to the one I want, rather than undoing. Also, wish there was a way for the app to add fields where they seem to belong.

Log into the One.com control panel. Click DNS settings on the Advanced settings tile. Go to DNS records. Under create new record, click TXT. Enter the following details: - Leave the hostname empty, or add a subdomain. Click Create record to save your settings.
A TXT record (short for text record) is a type of resource record in the Domain Name System (DNS) used to provide the ability to associate arbitrary text with a host or other name, such as human readable information about a server, network, data center, or other accounting information.
Open Command prompt (Start > Run > cmd) Type "nslookup -type=txt" a space, and then the domain/host name. If an SPF record exists, the result would be similar to: If there are no results or if there is no "v=spf1" property, then there is a problem retrieving the record for the domain, or one does not exist.
A TXT (Text) Entry was originally intended for human-readable text. These records are dynamic and can be used for several purposes. The TXT Value is what the record 'points to', but these records aren't used to direct any traffic. Instead they're used to provide needed information to outside sources.
Go to the DNS records stored with your domain host to edit the verification record. In the Hostname (also called Host, Name, or Host record) field, enter your domain name, which looks like domainname.com. Save the record and wait up to 72 hours to see if your domain is verified by Google.

To find out the TXT record of any domain, you can use dig, the DNS Linux commandline tool or any of the graphical DNS Lookup tools we already looked at. If you use Google's Gsuite Toolbox dig, then enter your domain name and select the TXT tab. Or if you choose to use dig, simply enter dig txt your-domain-name.
