Open Locked PDF Drag and drop your password-protected PDF into this tab. If your PDF file has an open password, then you will get a new window to ask for the open password. Just enter the correct password to open it. If your PDF file has the permission password, then you can open it in Chrome directly.
Choose Tools > Protect > Encrypt > Remove Security. Remove Security: The options vary depending on the type of password security attached to the document. If the document has a Document Open password, click OK to remove it from the document.
Your iPhone or iPad is designed to open PDF files automatically. If you are having this problem with some PDF documents, it is possible that those PDF documents may be corrupted. These files cannot be opened if they are corrupted. Perhaps the PDF file you could not open was not downloaded properly.
Download and install PDF Expert on your iPhone. Tap on the file to open it > enter the password to unlock the document > tap on the three-dots icon present in the top-right corner > select Change Password and tap Remove Password.
With the latest versions of the Dropbox and Acrobat Reader iOS apps, you'll be able to annotate and comment on PDFs stored in Dropbox, right from your iPhone or iPad. Just open a PDF from the Dropbox app and tap the 'Edit' icon, then edit or electronically sign the PDF in the Acrobat Reader app.
Send the PDF to iBooks. Tap the "Open in iBooks" button that appears. If you have another PDF reader, tap the "Open in" button instead then select the app. View your PDF in iBooks or your PDF reader. If you opened it in iBooks, it will be stored in the app and in your iCloud storage so that you can always access it.
How to unlock a PDF to remove password security: Open the PDF in Acrobat. Use the Unlock tool: Choose Tools > Protect > Encrypt > Remove Security.
