What is Apple Screen Time? Found in the Settings app alongside Notifications and Do Not Disturb, the feature monitors the way you use your device, telling you everything from how long you've spent on certain app categories to specific apps.
With Screen Time, you can access real-time reports about how much time you spend on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, and set limits for what you want to manage. Screen Time lets you know how much time you and your kids spend on apps, websites, and more.
You can achieve this by going to Settings app > Notifications > Screen Time > turning Notifications to OFF (or otherwise customizing them as you see fit). At any time you can reverse this change by returning to Notifications Settings and re-enabling the setting for Screen Time Notifications.
Check that Location Services are enabled for Screen Time on your child's device. If this is being disabled then you can prevent that by opening Apple Settings >> General >> Restrictions >> Enable Restrictions. Then scroll down to and tap Location Services finally tap Don't Allow Changes.
