What does a signature block consist of in email?

An email signature is a block of text appended to the end of an email message often containing the sender's name, address, phone number, disclaimer or other contact information.

Is a witness signature required on a contract or agreement?

Does a signature need to be witnessed in order to be binding? Generally speaking, the answer is no. Some documents have specific witnessing requirements, but most contracts do not. A witness is not necessary for the agree- ment to be valid and binding.

The witness cannot be one of the other parties to the document, e.g. if your spouse also needs to sign the document, they cannot witness your signature.
