Resolution: 1920 × 1080 or Higher Every display panel is made up of a series of dots called pixels, and the more pixels you have, the more detail you can fit on-screen. Most laptops come with low-resolution, 1366 × 768 screens that show far less content than high-resolution panels with at least 1920 × 1080 pixels.
The native resolution of a screen refers to the physical number of vertical and horizontal pixels contained within it. More plainly, the number of dots on the screen that can change color. Furthermore, native resolution refers to dimensions at which the display should be running.
The size of a desktop computer monitor can be determined by physically measuring the screen. Using a measuring tape, measure the size of the screen from the top left corner down to the bottom right corner. Measure only the screen and do not include the bezel (the plastic edge) around the screen.
Laptop screen size is measured in inches, diagonally from corner to corner (not including the bezel). You'll take a measuring tape and place it in the bottom left corner and measure the screen up to the top right corner; convert it to inches. This will be the size of your computer screen.
A larger laptop screen size, such as 15 inches or greater, can be used as a desktop replacement. Like computer monitors, laptop screens are measured by taking the diagonal length from the upper left corner to the lower right.
Click the Start button. Select the Settings icon. Select System. Click Advanced display settings. Click on the menu under Resolution. Select the option you want. We strongly recommend going with the one that has (Recommended) next to it. Click Apply.
Go to your phone's Settings menu. Scroll down to Display. Tap on Change screen resolution. You can now select either HD (1280×720), FHD (1920×1080), or WHO (2560×1440) Tap on Apply in the top right corner.
