I like the signature feature that gives a lot of options. I wish there was a better way to add information and have it look nice, but it does have the flexibility to add something anywhere, so that is nice.

The PDF filler is amazing. It has solved me in so many situations since being in isolation due to the fact that I do not have a printer. So easy to use. The only feedback is the date component is fiddly and doesn't always work but other than that - perfect.

Adding annotations Select the Annotate the document button from the header bar: ... Click on the first button to add a text annotation. Click on the spot in the document window you would like to add the annotation to. ... Type your text into the annotation window.
Re: PDF Highlight specific text choose > Comments > Highlight Text will highlight only the current selected text.
Evince (or Document Viewer), the default pdf viewer as of Ubuntu 18.04 also supports highlighting and annotations. To show the annotations menu bar, you must click on the red circle (see below). The annotation options appear and you can annotate or highlight as seen in the blue circle in the image below.
In the default document viewer that comes with Ubuntu, you can use ctrl + H to highlight the text.
To annotate a PDF file on Linux using Evince, you can follow these simple steps: Find the PDF file you want to annotate and open it in Evince. Once the PDF is loaded in Evince, click the Thumbnails dropdown arrow on the upper left corner. A menu of options will appear, and you will need to choose the Annotations option.
