Required fields, also known as mandatory fields, are questions that must be answered by the form-filler. The opposite of a mandatory field is an optional field. With these questions, form-fillers have a choice.

How do you make a field mandatory in SAP?

Go to transaction OBC4 and create a field status group inside a field status variant. Inside each field status group, you can set the mandatory or optional fields, or suppress some fields.
