I have only used to fill and print out a 1099-misc. After reading the general instructions of how to report my DE 542 information and what I needed to understand. I was sold on PDFffiller.com I am a little confused on the detail of how and what I want to do etc. Once I have some practice getting around my PDFfiller site I'll answer you follow up survey. P.S. * I am an old lady and I don't really know my way around a computer. Thinking about it. I felt your site was elder friendly. I love this app but I wish it was more user friendly I love this app but I wish it was more user friendly. Especially when beginning the use of this app and also know I sometime struggle to figure out how to print or upload my document I need to fill in my information to the document. But other than that I love that this app is out there!!!

Is an e-signature legally binding?

Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce (DESIGN) Act. For an electronic signature to be legally binding under the DESIGN Act, it is recommended that all electronic signature workflows include: Intent to sign. Similar to ink signatures, a signer must show clear intent to sign an agreement electronically.

What constitutes an electronic signature legally?

The U.S. Code defines an electronic signature for the purpose of US law as “an electronic sound, symbol, or process, attached to or logically associated with a contract or other record and executed or adopted by a person with the intent to sign the record.”
