THIS THING IS A DREAM (although I did have some kind of issue opening up a file.) I used the MERGE function and it merged some files I didn't need. That was weird. So I'm editing one page at a time instead. That seems to be working.

What do you like best?
I receive notifications to my Gmail account on my phone and the computer. I like knowing when documents I fax for insurance companies and claims are received or if there was an error. I like the Word to PDF option and how I can send signature requests to individuals. I like the editing features as well.
What do you dislike?
I don't have any complaints for what I use pdfFiller for.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is very simple to understand and use. I've utilized it every day since since I purchased it back around February 2020. It also keeps a paper trail audit which is helpful.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
I can send faxes directly from my computer/printer or my cell phone. It is very convenient. I know immediately if the fax was not received. I know when I receive a fax, which is also nice. It is very beneficial for a small mental health business. I like the feature of email faxing and document creation, as well as uploading my own templates to send out to my clientele.

What is a master patient index MPI and how is it used?
A Master Patient Index (MPI) aims to identify individual patients by storing and analyzing demographic information and assigning a unique identifier to that person. The MPI aims to accurately match and link records by uniquely identifying individuals.
What is the purpose of a master patient index?
The Master Patient Index identifies patients across separate clinical, financial and administrative systems and is needed for information exchange to consolidate the patient list from the various RPM databases. The MPI generates a unique patient ID, called an QUID, for each enterprise record.
Why is the master patient index important?
An accurate master patient (person) index (MPI), whether in paper or electronic format, may be considered the most important resource in a healthcare facility because it is the link that tracks patient, person, or member activity within an organization (or enterprise) and across patient care settings.
What is the purpose of a disease index?
The most common purpose for a disease index in a long term care facility is to identify or provide access to resident(s) who have a certain disease/diagnosis based on an ICD-9-CM diagnosis code. At a minimum, a disease index report should include: Resident's name and medical record number. Attending physician.

Patient's data can include name, gender, date of birth, race and ethnicity, Social Security number, current address, contact information, insurance information, and other similar identifying elements.

The MPI lists the medical record or identification number associated with the name and must contain enough demographic data to readily identify a patient and his or her record. If the MPI serves more than one healthcare facility, the index should also indicate the facility in which the admission or encounter occurred.
