It was really easy to fill out the forms and print them. Normally, I wouldn't spend money for this type of service, as I can just print the PDF document from the internet. This time, however, I just didn't want to have to write all the information. Also, if I wanted to make changes, I loved that I could change any field and not have to write over it (as I would have otherwise).

So far it has worked for what I need. I wish there was a better price for non profit corporations. AZ Exotic Bird Rescue, Inc. is a 501c3 charity but I had to buy myself because of the cost.

Most professional easy to use app
I'm not IT savy, however this program makes editing PDF's so easy and fast with a professional finish, I would recommend it to anyone.

best out there, has opportunities to get better
generally very positive. i used the free trial for a month and switched to the yearly plan.
this is by far the best pdf editor i tried using. the biggest selling point is converting the files without losing the layout and the possibility to edit copy and somewhat match the font
i noticed that while editing copy the font size of the original text shifts a pixel down and the font weight automatically turns to lighter than original.
still the best font matching abilities of all the tools, but sometimes a pain

Can I still use paper logs?
Everyone who is required to keep logs must be compliant by December 16, 2019. Companies can install an ELD in any CMV (commercial motor vehicle), even if it's not required for that vehicle or operation. If an ELD malfunctions, drivers can use paper logs for up to 8 days.
Can drivers still use paper logs?
Paper logs will be obsolete by Dec. 16, 2019, as Electronic Logging Devices (Ends) will be required by that date, and they're already being used by many trucking companies as the industry shifts to the new technology. Ends use GPS technology to more accurately track drivers.
Do local drivers need electronic logs?
If a driver maintains Record of Duty Status (RODS) for less than 8 days in a 30-day rolling period, he or she doesn't need an electronic logging device. According to the ELD mandate though, if they are logging for less than 8 days in a 30-day cycle, they are exempt from the ELD rule.
When should a driver use paper logs or electronic logging software if an ELD malfunction occurs?
Answer: A driver should only use paper logs, or electronic logging software, or other electronic means to record their hours of service (HOS) if the ELD malfunction hinders the accurate recording of the driver's HOS data (i.e., 10/11, 14/15, 60/70 hours, or 30 minute).
Which drivers are exempt from the ELD mandate?
Here is the official list of ELD mandate exceptions from the FMCSA's website: Drivers using paper RODS no more than 8 days out of every 30-day period. Driveaway-towaway drivers who transport empty vehicles intended for sale, lease, or repair, as long as the vehicle they are driving is part of the shipment.
How far back can dot check logs?
In the US you are required to carry 8 days of logs the past 7 days plus the current day. In Canada, you are required to carry 14 days of logs the past 13 days plus the current day.
How far back can a DOT audit go?
Under Section 396.17 and 396.21, every motor vehicle must go through a full inspection at least once every 12 months and a record of the inspection be kept for at least 14 months.
How long must DOT logs be kept?
Driver logs and supporting documents must be retained for six months.
