The addition of the new ZIP Code in McKinney (75072) will become effective July 1, 2018, and affect 18,676 residential and 158 business delivery addresses. No changes are being made in the 75069 and 75071 ZIP Code areas at this time.

How do I get PG&E alerts?
To sign up for an outage alert, sign in to Your Account and Select EDIT PROFILE & ALERTS (yellow button at the top of the page). This will bring you to the PG&E Preference Center. You don't need to put in an address to see outages, though you can do this if you want to check a particular address.

What is the 4-digit zip code?
The first part is the first five digits of the zip code which indicates the destination post office or delivery area. The last 4 digits of the nine-digit ZIP Code represents a specific delivery route within that overall delivery area. All 9 digits of a full zip code assist the USPS in effectively sorting the mail.
How do I find my 4-digit zip code?
Easy, just visit USPS.com, hover over the Mail & Ship top menu tab, and select Look Up a ZIP Code. Enter your address (with apartment number, if any), hit Find, and your full address with ZIP+4 will display.
