Very useful program and easy to use

Why do you need a film permit?
A film (or stills) permit allows you to legally carry out your production in the region that gave the permit. Obtaining film permits is part of the process of location scouting, and they are usually the responsibility of the location manager.
How much is a filming permit?
The cost of your film permit will vary depending on the exact location(s) you want to film in, but the basic application fee is $685 for a motion permit and $65 for a stills permit.
Do I need a permit to film?
If you are just walking around with your camera and shooting casually, you generally don't need a permit. You will, however, need a permit if you are shooing on public property OR if your shooting will impact others and/or the environment.
