How do I edit a calculated field in tableau?
In the Data pane, right-click the calculated field and select Edit.
In the Calculation Editor that opens, you can do the following: Edit the name of the calculated field. Update the formula.
Click OK. The view updates to reflect the changes automatically.

A calculated field is a field that derives its value by performing a function on values from other table fields. It can also calculate values entered by hand. The field's data only appears for the duration of the query.
