The interface is reasonably intuitive…
The interface is reasonably intuitive and everything works right, as far as I can tell. One note: To move a field, select and hold the symbol for move in the box just above the field, not the box itself. In other words, the symbol is the handle.

How does the 34-hour reset work?
34-Hour Restart Rule. The voluntary 34-hour restart rule is a way for truckers to reset their workweek. The reset helps drivers comply with the federal Hours of Service (HOS) regulations. Current rules say drivers can work no more than 60 consecutive hours in seven days or 70 consecutive hours in eight days.
What is the 34-hour restart rule?
As per Hours-of-Service rules, the 34-hour restart rule allows commercial motor vehicle drivers to reset their 60-hour or 70-hour clocks. Drivers can take advantage of the rule by taking at least 34 consecutive hours in the sleeper berth, off-duty, or a combination of both.
How often can you do a 34-hour reset?
According to those provisions, the 34-hour period must contain two periods between 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. to be valid. The old rule also only allowed one 34-hour restart every 168 hours.
What is a 36-hour reset?
The 36 hr reset is when you have worked you allowed 70 hrs in under 8 days (CIRC), after which you must take a 36hr reset to regain a fresh 70hrs. Give it time, the real experts will chime in.
Is the 34-hour restart still in effect?
FMCSA says the changes are technical only and have no legal effect, since the provisions haven't been in effect since December 2014. The 34-hour restart regulations will now simply read, Any period of seven (or eight) consecutive days may end with the beginning of an off-duty period of 34 or more consecutive hours.
How do you log a 30-minute break?
How do you log the 30-minute break? To be counted as a valid break (for compliance with the 8-hour/30-minute rule), it must be logged “off duty” or “sleeper berth.” In general, to be off duty the driver must be free of all obligations and responsibilities and free to leave the premises.

What Is The FMCSA 30-Minute Break Rule? The 30-minute break rule requires drivers to take a break of 30 consecutive minutes after driving for 8 hours. It is important to note here that drivers do not need to take a break after 8 hours if they are not driving.
Who is exempt from the 30-minute break?
Two categories of drivers are exempt from the 30-minute break rule: Short-haul drivers who qualify for the 100 air-mile radius provision. Short-haul drivers who qualify for the 150 air-mile radius provision and operate non-CDL vehicles.
