Just retired and found several entities I need to work with to get all my personal business done still require faxing and filling out lots of documents. pdfFiller has help me out immensely with the modification of scanned documents and the ability to fax them...

What do you like best?
The ability to edit almost any part of a pdf has saved me on countless hours of retyping a document for one minor change. The interface is very easy as well
What do you dislike?
The only improvement I would like to see is the ability to remove sections (cut) and move others into the opening. I may be a novice and this ability does exist, but if it does not, I personally would find it beneficial

I am able to correct sentances, paragraphs or simply small typos. The ability to adjust those without redoing an entire document is an amazing benefit.

What is PDF a compliant?
PDF/A is an ISO-standardized version of the Portable Document Format (PDF) specialized for use in the archiving and long-term preservation of electronic documents. PDF/A differs from PDF by prohibiting features unsuitable for long-term archiving, such as font linking (as opposed to font embedding) and encryption.
How do I make a PDF compliant?
Open a PDF file that you wish to conform to PDF/A.
Choose File> Save As> More Options> PDF/A.
The Save As Window appears. Click the Settings button.
The Preflight window appears. (A) Choose PDF/A-1b for Federal Court Filings.
Click OK again to save and conform the file.
How can I tell if a PDF is compliant PDF?
When the preflight profiles have loaded, there is a section PDF/A compliance. Open it, and you find a bunch of profiles for analyzing and converting. Select the appropriate profile and analyze. The report will show whether your file is compliant or not.
How do I validate a PDF file?
Open the PDF file in PDF Converter Professional.
Left-click on the Digital Signature field.
Click “Verify Signature”.
Click “Properties”.
Click “Verify Identity”.
