hi folks Glynn here back now with a new episode this is episode 77 I've had a couple of weeks off lightly due to the new site going live and the new store and things like that but I'm back but this time not necessarily with a Photoshop tutorial but more of a public service announcement if you like now those have you been following online on social media and on the blog will probably have seen like that I've been posting quite a bit to do with model releases copyright copyright registration and all that kind of stuff basically how to protect you and your pictures now this has kind of been prompted by an episode of the grid which is done by the guys over at Cal v1 where they had Jack resnickie and Ed Greenberg on there and it's episode one eight one and it's all about copyright registration and model releases now one of the things that that's actually prompted in fact their book here the copyright zone I also post about on my blog so it's called the copyright zone by ed greenberg Jack marries Nikki definitely recommend you check that out I'll put a link in the description of the video but basically one thing that this has prompted me to start doing which is what I did when I first started out then I stopped cuz I didn't to the point but now I have started it and that's actually watermarking my pictures without my signature or with my actual logo on there as well now this is something that a lot of you I'm sure will know how to do but I try to cover everybody in this weekly show so for those of you who know how to do what I'm going to show you then great it's just to remind you reminder but those of you who don't know it heck is something new so I'm going to show you how you can watermark your images actually create your own signature in Photoshop Photoshop and place it directly onto your pictures okay so those of you who are Lightroom users actually watermark in your pictures when you export them to use on your blogs on your websites or on the social media is really easy because when we go to the export dialog here we've got the keyboard shortcut as well when we scroll down one of the areas that we have is water marking now if we just click on the down arrow we go to edit watermarks this is where you can start creating your own two marks and up in the top right-hand corner you can choose to have either text and you can see you can put in copyright and your name and all that kind of stuff or you can actually choose a graphic and that's what I've got you can see in the bottom left-hand corner here I've got my logo now the great thing is when you're in here you can actually choose if you use in text how you want that text to appear any effects on it like shadows and what-have-you but you can also when you add the graphics in and the text start to position it where you want and obviously I've got mine bottom left and down this area here is we've got all these little circles you know it's kind of like a square grid is where we can click to where we...
