EXCELLENT Customer Service
I requested a refund on my annual subscription after it had been taken out of my account. I explained that I don't use the software, and did not need to have my subscription renewed. When I realized I had to solve a problem involving this company, I prepared myself for a multi-day, inconvenient annoyance. Instead, I was very pleasantly surprised to find a prompt reply which ended swiftly in a satisfactory way ... even though it turned out to be my own fault! I used the program for only one item but I "poked around" in it to get a better handle on it. For anyone using PDF's on an almost daily basis, I'm sure pdfFiller would be an extremely useful tool.

Can my employer publish my salary?
California: Labor Code, Section 232 No employer may do any of the following: a. Require, as a condition of employment, that an employee refrain from disclosing the amount of his or her wages.
Can my employer share my salary information?
An employer may not prohibit an employee from disclosing the employee's own wages or from inquiring about another employee's wages if the purpose of the disclosure or inquiry is to enforce the rights granted by this section. Nothing in this section creates an obligation to disclose wages. 408.483a Prohibited conduct.
Is my salary considered confidential information?
Salaries are almost always confidential, but that's just cultural. But, despite all the confidentiality, it's all self-imposed. Federal law protects your right (and the right of your employees) to discuss their working conditions--including salary. So, some people at Google did just that.
Why salary is confidential?
- Salaries are kept confidential because there are differential salaries being paid to people in the same job, with the same qualifications, same responsibilities.
Can your boss talk about you to other employees?
However, employers should also maintain strict confidentiality concerning employee status, pay, performance and medical related information to the extent possible. With few exceptions, employers shouldn't engage in discussions about other employees or disclosures concerning employees with their coworkers.
Is it illegal to disclose someone's salary?
According to section 79(2), employers can't prevent their employees from talking about the details of their remuneration to anyone or punishing them because they did tell someone about their remuneration, or they are planning to tell someone about their remuneration details.
Do companies have to publish salaries?
The Companies (Miscellaneous Reporting) Regulations 2018 (SI 2018/860) introduce a requirement for quoted companies with more than 250 employees to publish the ratio between their CEO's total remuneration and employees' pay and benefits.
Why don't employers post salaries?
The reason employers don't include pay ranges in their job ads is that they are hoping to find an amazing candidate for a low salary. If they posted the salary range in the job ad, they'd have to pay the person they hired at least the minimum of the salary range they had advertised.
