Do temporary employees go on OSHA 300 log?
Question 1: Under 29 CFR Section 1904.31, employers who supervise temporary or leased employees at their facility are required to maintain the OSHA 300 Logs for those employees.
What goes on an OSHA 300 log?
The OSHA Form 300 is a form for employers to record all reportable injuries and illnesses that occur in the workplace, where and when they occur, the nature of the case, the name and job title of the employee injured or made sick, and the number of days away from work or on restricted or light duty, if any.
Where do I post the OSHA 300 log?
Form 300A should be displayed in a common area where notices to employees are usually posted. Employers with 10 or fewer employees and employers in certain industries are normally exempt from federal OSHA injury and illness record keeping and posting requirements.
Who is required to fill out OSHA 300 logs?
Employers are required to complete the OSHA Form 300 log unless they are exempt. Employers will also be required to post an annual summary (Form 300A) in their workplaces from February 1 until April 30 of each year.
Do you post OSHA 300 and 300a?
On February 1, 2019, covered employers must post OSHA Form 300A for injuries and illnesses that occurred in 2018. Employers must post OSHA Form 300A even if they had no recordable injuries or illnesses in 2018. An injury or illness must be recorded on OSHA Form 300 if it results in: death.

The OSHA Form 300 is the part of a federal requirement mainly concerning employee safety in the workplace. OSHA Form 300A is the second page of the OSHA Form 300. The first page which is Form 300 contains a log for work-related injuries and illnesses designed by OSHA.
Do you count weekends for OSHA log?
This would include weekends and holidays. Do not count the day of the injury. If the day count reaches 180 calendar days, you may stop counting subsequent days and enter 180 in column K.
How do you count lost work days?
The LED rate is calculated by multiplying the total number of lost work days for the year by 200,000, then dividing that number by the number of employee labor hours at the company.
