How do I add a tag in unity?
To create a new Tag, click the Add Tag option at the end of the drop-down menu. This will open up the Tag Manager in the Inspector. The Tag Manager is described here. Layers appear similar to Tags, but are used to define how Unity should render GameObjects in the Scene.
Can a GameObject have multiple tags?
Yes you can, by simply replacing Unity's tag system with your own. Very simple. Best practice is to always avoid using GameObject.
How many tags can a GameObject have?
A GameObject can only have one Tag assigned to it.
What is Component in unity?
Description. Returns the component of Type if the game object has one attached, null if it doesn't. Component is the primary way of accessing other components. From JavaScript the type of script is always the name of the script as seen in the project view.
