How do I log my driving hours?
Complete your logging hours during the day and night. Most states require a certain amount of hours to be completed during both day and night. Drive under all the required weather conditions. Do not drive with minors in the car. Always have your learner's permit with you while logging hours.
How do I complete 50 hours of driving?
Complete at least 50 hours of supervised driving. It will take more than 15 minutes of practice time every day for six months to complete 50 hours of practice driving, of which at least 10 hours must be night driving practice.
What do you do if you lost your driving log?
If your DL is lost, stolen, or damaged, you must go to a DMV field office, complete the DL 44/EDL 44 form (the eDL44 can be completed online in advance), and pay a fee for the replacement. You should also present a photo ID.
How many hours do you need for driving MN?
Any teenager with an instruction permit under the Graduated Driver's License (GDP) law in Minnesota is now required to submit a Supervised Driving Log containing 50 hours of practice driving time (15 hours at night).

California requires that you complete both a 30-hour classroom course and a six-hour, behind-the-wheel training program before you can hit the road on your own.
