Cut the paper trail and faxing
Instead of faxing documents, I just get them emailed. The documents are more clear, it's fast, and I can sign and fill in easy without needing to fax it back. I love the signature button.
This is so easy to use. Uploading and downloading is all I do now. My fax machine is obsolete.
You have to download it to your computer from email, then upload it to pdf filler - at least that's how I do it.

Does split year treatment apply automatically?
You don't need to claim split-year treatment it is applied automatically. You won't get it if you live abroad for less than a full tax year before returning to the UK. You also need to meet other conditions.
How do I claim split year treatment?
If you are, you will be resident in Ireland in the year of departure and non-resident the next year. Furthermore, you can claim 'split-year treatment' in the year of departure. This means that you continue to be treated as resident up to the date of departure. All your employment income up to that date is taxed in the normal way.
Do I qualify for split year treatment?
You may qualify for split year treatment in the tax year in which you start to have your only home in the UK, provided you did not have sufficient UK ties to make you UK resident for the part of the tax year before the day you on which you meet the only home test.
What is split year relief?
Leaving Ireland Split Year Relief If you are leaving Ireland for employment purposes, your Split Year Relief means you will be treated as a resident up until the date you depart. All income from employment is taxed in the normal way up to that point, and ignored thereafter for Irish tax purposes.
