Can you scan an E ticket from your phone?
Here's how it works: Download the Ticketmaster app and sign in. Tap My Events to locate your order and view your tickets. To get in, you'll simply scan your ticket right from your phone.
Can my ticket be scanned on my phone?
You will not be able to show your tickets on your phone screen at the venue, as the barcode will need to be printed in order for venue staff to scan and validate your ticket. The QR code can be scanned at the venue from the screen of your smartphone.
Can print at home tickets be scanned from phone?
If you have selected Print-at-Home as your delivery option, you will need to print and take a physical copy of your tickets to the venue. You will not be able to show your tickets on your phone screen at the venue, as the barcode will need to be printed in order for venue staff to scan and validate your ticket.
How do mobile tickets work?
A new technology called mobile ticketing delivers tickets right to your cell phone. You don't even have to print them out. The tickets arrive as a text message with a special barcode. When you show up at the event, they'll scan the barcode, and you're in the door!
Will a screenshot of a ticket work?
The combination of new technologies is meant to cut down on ticket fraud. Today, unscrupulous resellers take screenshots or photocopies of tickets that they then sell multiple times over to unsuspecting victims. Because the barcodes now automatically refresh, a saved photo won't work.
How can I print my mobile ticket?
To print your tickets, use the browser on your desktop, laptop or mobile device and login to your Ticketmaster account. Then, locate the order for your event and print your tickets. Please note: tickets may not be printed from our app.
Will a screenshot of an E ticket work?
When you attend events you'll need to display your tickets on your mobile phone. Your barcode includes technology to protect it, so you won't be able to use screenshots or print-outs. When you view it in our App, your ticket will be automatically saved, so it's always ready.
Can I use a screenshot of my train ticket?
The terms and conditions of e-tickets are clear that the customer must activate and take the ticket with them when they travel. A photograph or screenshot is not acceptable, as this is not the ticket and could be used by anyone.
