It is important to be able to correct mistakes we’ve made and do things right. With pdfFiller’s undo/redo tool you can easily erase the last 13 changes you’ve made and reverse the last undo command. It’s very useful if you make a mistake or change your mind while editing a document. To enjoy all the advantages of the undo/redo tool, open the document in pdfFiller’s editor. You will find to undo and redo buttons in the top left corner of the page. The undo button is an arrow pointing left, the redo button is an arrow pointing right.

Alternatively, you can undo the last changes by pressing Ctrl+Z. You can reverse the last undo command by pressing Shift+Ctrl+Z. A tip: before you start editing a document or filling a form, make a backup copy of the blank document. If something goes wrong, you will always be able to start a new. To do this, select the document in its folder and click the Copy icon.

Enter a name of the copy and click the COPY button.

You can also undo all the changes you’ve made in a couple of clicks. Select the document in its folder, click the More drop-down menu and select Clear. Remember, however, that you won’t be able to reverse this action.

It should be noted that the empty fillable fields that you added to the document will remain.

To undo or redo changes in a PDF online, click the arrow pointing left icon or the arrow pointing right icon correspondingly.

If you want to make a copy of a document before changing it, select it in MY DOCS and click the Copy icon.

To undo all the changes you have made in the document instantly, select the document and click the More drop-down menu. Choose Clear — and that is it.

If you are the signer and you wish to void or cancel an envelope, you can decline to sign to cancel the envelope. Senders can only void envelopes that have not been completed. After an envelope is voided, recipients can no longer view or sign it.
To void an envelope Click Actions and then select Void. 1. In the Void Envelope page, type the reason for voiding the envelope. This information is included in the email sent to recipients that have already signed the envelope.
To undo an action, press Ctrl + Z. To redo an undone action, press Ctrl + Y. The Undo and Redo features let you remove or repeat single or multiple typing actions, but all actions must be undone or redone in the order you did or undid them – you can't skip actions.
You cannot correct anything (fields, documents, recipient details, etc.) for a signer who has already signed.
To learn how to correct an envelope, please follow the steps below: Access the Room that contains the envelope you need to correct. ... Click the Envelopes tab, at the top of the page. From the Envelopes page, right-click on the desired envelope, and select Correct. Make your corrections.
You can only Correct or Void envelopes in an In-process state: Created, Sent and Delivered. Once an envelope is in a terminal state: Completed (signed), Declined and Voided it can no longer be Corrected or Voided. You will need to contact the sender to negotiate with the sender to delete the document.
Void (Cancel) an Envelope in With , you are able to void or cancel Envelopes that are in progress. Access the Room that contains the envelope you will be voiding. Click the Envelopes tab, at the top of the page. From the Envelopes page, right-click on the desired envelope, and select Void.
When you are ready to send forms out for completion, you will create and send a Envelope. If the Envelope you sent is already marked as Completed, then no additional changes can be made to the Envelope.
