How do you sign a deed?

Signing as a deed requires those very words and the signature of the person “making” the deed. The signature should be on the document itself approximately in the space provided. The words of execution should name the signatory or otherwise make clear who has signed the document.

What does it mean to sign as a deed?

A deed is a written document which is executed with the necessary formality (that is, more than a simple signature), and by which an interest, right or property passes or is confirmed, or an obligation binding on some person is created or confirmed. Do both parties need to sign a deed?
