Confusing to learn and there is a lot to learn. There is no simple way to learn that I can see . I contacted support but it is only a way to answer one question at a time . While I might recommend it to someone , it would be with caution about how complicated it is

What is the best way to mix baby formula?
Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and warm water. Measure and pour desired amount of water into baby bottle. Add unpacked, level scoop(s) of powder to the bottle as directed. Return dry scoop to can. Put the cap on the bottle and shake. Feed or store immediately in refrigerator.
What kind of water do you use for baby formula?
For example, you might use ready-to-feed formula, which contains little fluoride, or alternate between using fluoridated tap water and low-fluoride bottled water such as purified, demineralized, deionized or distilled bottled water to prepare concentrated formula.
Can you use distilled water for baby formula?
Purified water or distilled water is recommended for infant formula feeding. According to the Mayo Clinic's hospital website, the American Dental Association does not recommend mixing formula with fluoridated tap water. It can create enamel fluorous, which develops while teeth are forming in the gums.
Do you have to boil bottled water for formula?
Boil water to make up formula feeds As bottled water is not usually sterile, it'll still need to be boiled, like tap water, before you prepare the feed. Always use boiled water at a temperature of at least 70C to make up a feed.
When can I use tap water for formula?
If your tap water is safe, simply mix powdered formula with room temperature tap water, and the bottle is ready to use. If your tap water is not safe or if you are unsure, use bottled water or bring cold tap water to a rolling boil for no longer than one minute.
How do you prepare water for formula?
Bring water to a rolling boil for one minute, then turn off the heat. Let the water cool to room temperature before adding to formula. Once mixed, sprinkle a few drops on the inside of your wrist to make sure it is not too hot.
What happens if Formula isn't mixed properly?
If you mix formula incorrectly if you water it down or make it too concentrated it disturbs the electrolyte balance, which may lead to serious neurological consequences. The wrong balance of formula and water can cause nutritional deficiencies or dehydration.
How long is formula good for after it's been mixed?
Formula that's been prepared should be consumed or stored in the refrigerator within 1 hour. If it has been at room temperature for more than 1 hour, throw it away. And if your baby doesn't drink all the formula in the bottle, throw away the unused portion do not save it for later.
