Using File Explorer, right-click on a file or folder you want password protected.
Click on Properties at the bottom of the context menu.
Click on Advanced
Select Encrypt contents to secure data and click on Apply.

Go to File > Info > Protect Document > Encrypt with Password.
Type a password, then type it again to confirm it.
