Amazing Customer Service
While I was reviewing a couple of unauthorized charges on my PayPal account I noticed they were from PDF filler. Upon further investigation as to what PDF filler is, I realized that this was due to something a professor from a course I had taken last year had required the class to use to complete an assignment. He assured us that though we may need to put in our personal information, the service we were using would be "free". I did not realize that “free” was then turned into a renewable purchase fee. I contacted PDF filler to dispute the charges and explained what had happened. This company responded to my email with genuine kindness within a couple of hours to assist me with providing a refund upon receipt of a response providing verification information. I emailed them the information and again, within a couple of hours, I received a response that I had been refunded the fee. I appreciate how professional, considerate, and amazingly responsive this company has been- the whole process was quick and painless and I will certainly consider using PDF Filler in the future should I need such a service!!

A wonderful tool for small business
Filling and sending forms is extremely easy, other people can sign into the account and use it.
It makes filling out forms a breeze, no more handwriting. It's very simple to use, allows good organization and many ways of printing or sending the completed form.
The E-Signature is a bit funny but that's my only complaint.

I think it is great but I decided I didn’t need it and wanted to cancel my free trial so I contacted the company and Ma was the representative who helped me. What is a control attestation?
Attest a control. Attestations are surveys that gather evidence to prove that a control is implemented. If the control attestation and respondents fields are selected, when the control moves from the Draft state to the Attest state, a notification is sent to the attestation respondents.
Is SSA 18 mandatory?
Technically, there is no such thing as a SSA 18 certification because a SSA 18 attestation states an auditor's opinion on a service organization's internal controls and security practices for a specific period of time. However, it's common in the marketplace to refer to a SAS 70 audit as SAS 70 certification.
What is SSA No 18?
SSA 18 is a series of enhancements aimed to increase the usefulness and quality of SOC reports, now, superseding SSA 16, and, obviously the relic of audit reports, SAS 70. All organizations are now required to issue their System and Organization Controls (SOC) Report under the SSAE-18 standard in an SOC 1 Report.
What is difference between SSA 18 and ssae16?
SSA 16 was specific to SOC 1 reports which deal with the controls at a service organization that impact financial reporting of the customers of the service organization. By contrast, SSA 18 refers to many types of attestation reports, not just SOC 1 reports.
Is soc1 the same as SSA 18?
The SSA 18 SOC 1, sometimes just stated as SOC 1, is the report you get when you are audited for SSA 18. The SOC 1 Type 1 report focuses on a service provider's processes and controls that could impact their client's internal control over their financial reporting (CFR).
When did SSA 18 become effective?
SSA 18 Effective Date — May 1, 2017. As for the SSA 18 effective date, for opinion letters for audit reports dated on or after May 1, 2017, SSA 18 is the reporting standard to be utilized in accordance with the AICPA Service Organization Control (SOC) reporting framework.

If performing financially significant duties for a Public Company, they are required to use a SSA 16 qualified provider as it is the only way to give investors assurance over controls that are not performed by the Company in question.
Who needs an SSA 16 audit?
Who Needs an SSA 16 (SOC 1) Audit? If your Company (the 'Service Organization') performs outsourced services that affect the financial statements of another Company (the 'User Organization'), you will more than likely be asked to provide an SSAE16 Type II Report, especially if the User Organization is publicly traded.
