Brilliant piece of kit... does what it says on the tin
Great multi functional PDF editing software. Handy to unlock and edit PDF files and convert, rearrange, reformat etc etc
Graphical interface is lacking, but the software works so effortlessly that this does not impact on the functionality

Does the bank keep the deed to your house?
While you have a mortgage, the lender has rights to the property title until the loan is paid. If you buy a home without a mortgage, the real estate attorney or title company records the deed and issues a copy to you. Most records offices have a form to complete such as a Title Deed Request.
How do I get the deeds to my house?
Find out if the property or land is registered. Download a copy of the title register — you'll need this to find the property's title number and to see if HM Land Registry holds a copy of the deeds. Fill in the deeds request form.

If the deeds went missing or were destroyed while in the custody of a law firm or financial institution then, if satisfied with the evidence, the Land Registry will register the property with an absolute title.
